My name is Veljo Värk; however, in the music world I also go by the name Welysian (previously Waerck).

In 2009 I graduated from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre with a master’s degree in composition. Altogether I’ve been making music for more than 20 years. Today I continue as a composer and producer.

I create electronic music, as well as music for orchestra, choirs, and different chamber ensambles. In my music you will find some minimalistic traits, meditativity, and ostinato-based approach. But there are also a few romantic moments and elements of jazz. My inspiration comes mostly from nature where I like to go berry picking, fishing and hiking.
